Well, I am at my usual stage of the year of having written lots of plans and stuck to none of them completely. However, 4 weeks from tomorrow I have my first race of the season – the Stokesley Duatholon – so that does focus the mind somewhat. The next four weeks will be bang on target!

So, I had better make some new year resolutions..everyone else does. However, maybe they would be more useful if they were goals for the year.

Here goes then:

To stick to a triathlon training plan

To improve on my times for sprint tri’s next year (I do have last years times about the place somewhere)

Complete a half marathon – in 3 hours or under

Start a blog about my garden.

 

I’ve been wanting to start a blog for a while but didn’t have a clue how to start. I’d like this one to be about my journey from very poor sprint triathlete to someone who finishes an ironman triathlon – in about 4./5 years time. For, I am not only very unfit – but pretty lazy too.
So, here’s to my journey.
